How the Active Slots Intersect
Slot 2: Periodic Notes Resurrection
This is a foundations initiative — installing the engine that generates daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly notes from templates. It touches:
- Template consolidation (reducing 4 daily templates to 1)
- Quarterly folder creation
- Meetings surfacing hook
- Client-commitments roll-up view
Architecture note: This slot has the widest blast radius of any active slot — it rewires how the vault generates its most-used notes. The ships-by of 2026-09-25 is tight for the scope.
Slot 5: Tag Taxonomy Unification
This is a routing initiative — reducing ~1,408 tags to 10 governed domains. It touches:
- domain field enforcement (1:1 to JD areas)
- Forge domain-enum schema
- Born-clean templates
- Crosswalk migration
Architecture note: The domain field already exists on ~2,415 notes. This slot is a re-arm, not a build — lower risk than Slot 2.
