A–I — Canonical Catch-All
A–I — Canonical Catch-All
v83y
One of three root-level catch-all buckets (A-I · J-R · S-Z) that split A–Z into thirds. Anything without a natural JD home — miscellaneous files, apps, plugins, exports, loose folders — files here by its first letter.
If a file or folder's name starts with A through I, it lives here. Simple as that. No JD number required — these buckets are the deliberate exception to JD addressing.
Anything that doesn't start with a letter — names leading with a digit (0–9) or a symbol — files here too. A–I is the first bucket, so it absorbs everything the A–Z scheme can't otherwise place. Sort order puts numbers/symbols above A anyway, so it reads naturally at the top.
Exception: genuinely JD-addressed items (e.g. 03.21 …) belong in their JD area, not here — a JD number is a home, not a catch-all.
Sibling buckets: README (J–R, letters J–R) · S-Z/README (S–Z, letters S–Z)
This is loose-storage, not curated Knowledge. Durable, finished notes still belong in their JD area (40-49 Knowledge & Concepts/, etc.). When something here matures, promote it out.
