Zones
| Zone | Purpose |

| INBOX | Raw intake — incoming files, drops, captures. Process or shelve. |
| WORKBENCH | Active files under manipulation. Current operations live here. |
| SHELF | Reference — finished pieces that may be needed again. |
| ARCHIVE | Closed files. Immutable once sealed. |
| MAP | Vault index, zone manifests, provenance records. |
Zone Discipline
- INBOX → WORKBENCH when you pick something up.
- WORKBENCH → SHELF when it's done but may be reused.
- SHELF → ARCHIVE when it's cold.
- MAP is append-only. Every file movement is recorded.
File Naming Convention
YYYY-MM-DD_T{N}.{N}_Short-Description.ext
